The initiative, which is now known as Hyundai Hope on Wheels, began in 1998 as a local drive supported by New England- dealers to raise funds for the Jimmy Fund at Boston's Dana-Farber Cancer Institute has grown into a nationwide program.

The Hyundai Hope on Wheels Program has donated more than $12 million to cancer institutes all over the country to help children successfully battle cancer. This year, the Hyundai Hope on Wheels Tour will travel to children's hospitals across the United States and donate $1.3 million to support further research towards the cure for Pediatric Cancer.

While the Hyundai Hope on Wheels works towards giving a sense of hope, it also builds optimism in the fight to find a sure-shot cure by encouraging research on pediatric cancer.
